SEO, GEO, and AEO Consulting for B2B and B2C Brands

Your brand should show up
where decisions get made.

Search has always been a moving target. Right now it's moving faster than most teams can track. I help B2B and B2C brands stay visible in traditional search and in the AI tools their buyers already use to find answers, compare options, and decide who to work with.

What happens when visibility gets treated as a one-time fix

The site launched. Traffic disappeared.

A developer rebuilds the site and hands it over. No redirects. Every inbound link you built over years now returns a 404. The widgets look great in the browser. In the HTML, they're invisible to search engines. Schema was never discussed. Nobody warned you it would matter.

The report landed. Nothing changed.

Forty pages of findings. A score out of 100. No workbook. No code blocks. No instructions a developer can actually use. Six months later the same issues are still there and the same questions are still being asked.

AI tools have opinions about your brand. No one told you.

Boards are asking "What's our AI strategy?" Meanwhile, your brand isn't showing up in AI responses at all while a competitor has already built a consistent presence across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and similar tools. Not because they're better. Because they structured their content to be found.

What I Do

Three layers. One strategy.

The three don't work in isolation. A solid technical foundation is what makes AI visibility possible in the first place. And AI visibility without content that actually answers questions is just good infrastructure pointing nowhere. That's why I work across all three.

SEO

Technical Foundation

Full site crawls. Keyword gap analysis. On-page optimization. Monthly health monitoring. Everything else you want to accomplish depends on getting this right first.

GEO · Generative Engine Optimization

AI Search Visibility

GEO is about getting your brand cited and recommended in AI-generated responses. Schema markup, entity clarity, and AI crawler access are what determine whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Mode know who you are, understand what you do, and feel confident putting your name in front of someone.

AEO · Answer Engine Optimization

Answer Engine Optimization

AEO targets the direct answer. Featured snippets, People Also Ask boxes, voice search responses. The goal isn't always the click. Sometimes it's being the answer someone hears or reads without ever visiting your site. Content has to be structured clearly enough to earn that.

Why CMM

25 years in. Still in the work.

I've been doing this since 1998. That's not a badge. It means the deliverables look different and the relationships run deeper.

01

Deliverables your team can actually use

Not a report that ends up in a folder. A workbook with every fix written out, every schema block ready to copy, and every instruction clear enough that a developer can work through it on their own.

02

You're working with me directly

No account managers. No handoffs. No junior team running your account while a senior person takes the credit. I wrote it, I own it, I answer for it.

03

AI visibility you can actually measure

Monthly Share of Voice reports show where your brand appears in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Mode versus your competitors. The content strategy is tied directly to what the data shows.

04

A vetted network when you need more

I've spent 25 years building relationships with agencies I trust for brand strategy, positioning, research, and paid media. If you need more than search, I can make those introductions. I've already done the vetting.

Who I Work With

The right fit is specific.

I work best with people who want a strategic partner, not a vendor with a template.

Founders and Marketing Leaders

You need someone who thinks at your level and gives you something you can act on. Not a report you have to decode before you can decide if it's even useful.

In-House Teams

Your team can execute. You need deeper technical depth on AI visibility, schema, and crawl analysis than makes sense to hire for internally.

Agencies

You have the client relationship. I provide the SEO and AI visibility depth your team doesn't have on staff. The work comes back in plain English your clients can use the same day.

Site Migrations and Redesigns

I've never had a client lose traffic on a migration when we planned it together. Most teams don't start that conversation early enough. I'd rather be involved before the site moves.

How It Works

Visibility is not a project.
It's a practice.

There's real upfront work to get the foundation right. After that, it's about staying in it. The brands that hold their rankings and grow their AI presence aren't doing it because they solved search once.

01
Upfront Work

Get the technical foundation right

A site crawl, keyword analysis, and on-page audit shows you what's broken, what's missing, and what's already working. There are no shortcuts here. Without this, everything that follows is guesswork.

02
Upfront Work

Layer in AI and answer engine visibility

Schema markup, entity clarity, and structured content go on top of a solid SEO base. You can't skip to this step. Step one has to work first.

03
↻  Ongoing

Traditional search keeps moving

Google updates its algorithm. Search behavior shifts. Competitors push into your keywords. Staying visible means staying current. Monthly monitoring and regular updates aren't optional. That's the job.

04
↻  Ongoing

AI platforms are changing too

How ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Mode surface brands changes every month. Anyone who says they have a fixed formula hasn't been paying close attention. This layer needs the same ongoing work as everything else.

"Nobody has this completely figured out. What separates good strategy from bad is how honestly you're tracking what's actually working, and whether you're willing to adjust."

Results

Work that moves the needle.

A few examples of what this looks like in practice.

0% to cited

AI Share of Voice · B2B SaaS

Brand had zero Share of Voice across AI platforms while competitors had already built consistent presence. Weekly content strategy and entity work built toward measurable citation presence over a single quarter.

Zero loss

Domain migration · Professional services

Full pre-migration crawl, redirect mapping, and post-launch monitoring. Organic traffic held flat through a complete domain move. Most teams lose 20 to 40 percent.

16 to 40+

AI Visibility Score · B2B tech

Starting AI Visibility Score of 16 out of 100. 30/60/90 plan targeting schema, entity work, and AEO citation structure to reach 40 plus within one quarter.

These are from real engagements. Results depend on where you're starting from. I don't promise outcomes I can't explain.

Common Questions

Good questions to ask before you hire anyone.

I'd rather answer these now.

Do I need all three, or can I start with just one?

Most clients start with SEO. The technical foundation has to come first. GEO and AEO layer on top once the base is solid. We'll work out the right starting point based on where you actually are.

How long before I see results?

Technical fixes can show impact quickly. Keyword rankings and AI visibility improvements usually take three to six months to build meaningfully. Anyone promising faster is overselling.

Should I be thinking about AI visibility right now?

That depends on your buyers. If they're using ChatGPT or Perplexity to compare options in your category and you're not showing up, a competitor is filling that space. Knowing where you stand costs nothing. Not knowing has a real cost.

What does working with you actually look like?

Every engagement is different. Some clients need an ongoing relationship. Others need a one-time audit and a workbook their team can execute. I don't push a package if it's not the right fit.

Can my team implement the recommendations?

Yes, and that's a common setup. Schema blocks are written out. Fixes are in a spreadsheet. Instructions are in plain English. If anything's unclear, that's my problem to fix, not yours.

What if I need more than SEO?

I've spent 25 years building relationships with agencies I trust for brand strategy, positioning, research, and paid media. If you need more than search, I can help you find the right people. I've already done the vetting.

Let's figure out if we're the right fit.

No two engagements look the same. Tell me what you're working on and we'll go from there.
